7 WAYS YOU ARE WEARING YOUR SHOES WRONG!!

Hello, in today's article I will be sharing ways that you might be wearing your shoes wrong. Plus, solutions on how to fix that. You may have been in this blog before or you may be new to this blog, either way welcome!!. I do write articles like this so feel free to read my other posts. No pressure.

Hopefully, you'll learn new things. Let's get started:

KNEE-HIGH BOOTS.

These have become a lot more popular in recent years. I highly recommend that you always wear skinny jeans with knee-high boots. Knee-high boots are amaaaazing they can make your legs look so long, but they need to be smooth and not lumpy (hence the need of skinny jeans). Lumpy kinda ruins the whole look, honestly. You might hate skinny jeans but if you have a pair of knee-high boots, invest in them.

Another important thing I would like to mention, I highly recommend that you match the color of the boots to your pants. (Black boots to black pants, brown boots to brown pants).

BOOTS AND DRESSES.

While on the subject of boots, would love to talk about boots and dresses. Which if done correctly, it can lookso stylish and unique. And even better than just a typical dress shoes. So, sometimes I see most women and girls wearing a really cute dress with a pair of very low boots, basically, where it just cuts off right at the ankle. And, I just think it would look so much better if you actually wear longer boots to elongate your legs.

WHITE AND LIGHT-COLORED SHOES.

That could be flats, heels or boots it doesn't really matter the same principle applies. So, if you're wearing very light shoes, make sure the rest of your outfit is also  in the same family(also very light). It looks very strange and out of place to have super bright shoes, with a very dark outfit on top. It also works the other way as well, say you are wearing dark shoes, the rest of your outfit should be on the darker side as well.

JEANS INSIDE BOOTS "The Bulge".

If you are not cuffing your pants and you want to actually tuck in your pants in your boots, you wanna avoid the bulge. So, the trick here is, to find the correct level of socks and actually stick your pants in the socks. So, like they are molded to your leg hence no bulge.

Extra tip: To cuff or not to cuff.

Honestly, in my opinion, I sometimes wonder if cuffing your pants around your ankles is maybe becoming outdated. But, if you do want to cuff your pants or jeans there are a few things I recommend:

a) Don't make your cuff too thick and bulky or long. It really cuts off your legs making your legs look really short.

b) Also, make sure there's a little sliver of your ankle still showing. I have no idea why that looks better, but it really does.

SNEAKERS.

There's something that you need to do all the time and that is to wear no show socks. Even with just a little bit of socks peeking out, it just ruins the entire look. I know it's a small detail but it really is a big detail. Again, it's just about showing that little bit of ankle.

RED AND ANIMAL PRINT SHOES.

I'm not exactly sure why I'm combining them into the same point, but I think it's because they both pack a punch. So, when it comes to red shoes I really recommend wearing blacks and whites on top. That is because red is such a bold color that a lot of other colors can easily clash with them.

When it comes to animal print shoes I just love wearing neutrals with them just because it's a really busy pattern. And, it can just confuse the eye if there's too many colors and there is too much going on. Your outfit can be kind of overwhelming. So, I stick to whites, black, beiges, browns, really just basic.

FLARED JEANS SHOES.

I know some people hate flared jeans. They kind of just think they're from the 90's and will never go back to them. But, I think that in certain outfits they can really make your body and your legs look amazing. But, the key is to always wear heels. Flares are typically a little bit longer than other types of jeans and so they have a tendency to drag on the floor. And so, if you just get a little elevation that makes a big difference.

And, I also think wearing pointy toe heels of squared toe heels  kind of makes it a little more relevant to our day and age , where as the 90s was all about the round toe and the flares.

THANK YOU.
